At LogiMAT 2019, we presented our new solutionMulti-Order Picking with LED Strips<\/strong>\" to the public for the first time.<\/p>\n\n

This solution represents a significant\u00a0increased Efficiency<\/strong>\u00a0compared to classic Pick by Light and Put to Light solutions. At the same time, the\u00a0costs<\/strong>\u00a0through the use of inexpensive LED strips\u00a0are reduced<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n\n

You will never have to modify a shelf again<\/strong>, when the assignment is changed, as the LED strips cover the entire storage area. The solution therefore inherently covers\u00a0storage bays of different widths<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n\n

Multiple workers<\/strong>\u00a0can\u00a0simultaneously<\/strong>\u00a0pick articles for different orders. LED strips consisting of individually and separately controllable LEDs in different colors guide the respective worker to the removal compartments with the\u00a0color<\/strong>\u00a0\"his\" picking order (Multi User Multi Order Picking<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n

A worker can also handle several orders with different colors at the same time (Single User Multi Order Picking<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n

The quantities to be removed are recorded either on a tablet or\u00a0Handheld Device<\/strong>\u00a0displayed. Only the data for the order is displayed for the logged-in user. Each worker has their own user master record in which the order color for this worker is assigned.<\/p>\n\n

The\u00a0Confirmation<\/strong>\u00a0of the removal is also carried out on the tablet or\u00a0Handheld<\/strong> Device<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Also for placement processes \u201dMulti Order Put by Light<\/strong>\u201d, this procedure can be used: The worker starts the storage order using a hand-held scanner, for example. The corresponding storage compartment then lights up in \u201cits\u201d color.<\/p>\n\n

The comprehensive software on our control unit handles the entire logic. Via an open\u00a0API<\/strong>\u00a0all processes can be managed via an external order system (e.g.\u00a0SAP<\/strong>) can be controlled remotely.
