LogiMAT 2017, leading international trade fair for distribution, materials handling and information flow was characterized by innovative solutions in logistics. At our boot in Hall 7 we could surprise many domestic and abroad visitors this year again by some new developments.
Beside our evolved solution "Assemble-by-Light®" with a Visual Assembly Plan - now with new cases und new transparent cover - we focussed this year on our new Box Sensor and the revolutionary Pick-by-Light solution in a drawer.
With the infrared Box Sensor which is reliable detecting the presence of a box, we initiate backorder supply behind a picking shelf.
With our amazing prototype "Pick-by-Light in a Drawer" we fit in any drawer cabinets e.g. for secured tool picking or supply. We can do this by identifying any particular drawer segment using a LED strip.
The solution consists of an I/O unit with big graphical display, 5 LEDs as well as a touch sensor für confirmation outside of the drawer, a battery with automatic charging unit (not displayed on the photo) and a LED strip of separately addressable LEDs in the drawer.
This setup combines with a controller unit including corresponding software.
